GSC celebra su 30 aniversario en el sector y lo hace como empresa referente dentro de la tecnología del mecanizado de piezas y conjuntos aeronáuticos. Gracias a su larga trayectoria y a sus capacidades que le permiten ofrecer las soluciones más eficaces e innovadoras, GSC ha logrado convertirse en proveedor destacado para las grandes compañías comercializadoras en el ámbito aeronáutico internacional.
Gracias a su gran trayectoria, GSC puede presumir de ser una de las empresas con más recorrido dentro del sector aeronáutico andaluz. Ya son treinta los años que lleva a la vanguardia del sector, innovando desde el sur de España al resto del mundo. GSC se ha establecido como referente aeroespacial global TIER 2 para la fabricación aeronáutica y esto le permite ser una empresa líder en el suministro de piezas y conjuntos para grandes compañías internacionales de la talla de Airbus Defence & Space; así como para las españolas Alestis o Aciturri.
Con una visión integradora, GSC abarca la totalidad de los procesos necesarios para la fabricación de componentes aeronáuticos altamente competitivos en el mercado. “Nuestra principal misión es aportar valor al cliente. Pasado y presente de un grupo referente
GSC nació en el año 1989 de la mano de su fundador Jose Luis Montaño; con el objetivo de convertirse en partner global de grandes compañías del sector para el mecanizado aeronáutico. Gracias a su gran expertirse, la empresa ha vivido una enorme transformación en estos 30 años de trayectoria, que pasó por un punto de inflexión en 2003 cuando decidió apostar por la integración vertical del conjunto de capacidades necesarias para el desarrollo de su actividad productiva.
El crecimiento de la empresa en estos diez últimos años ha evolucionado de manera importante, alcanzando un incremento de facturación TAC del más del 8.9%. Tras una inversión de una cifra cercana a los 15 millones de euros, la empresa ha logrado hacer crecer su plantilla en más del 22.7% y pasado de contar con unas instalaciones de 3.500 m2 a 50.000 m2; en la actualidad. “Disponemos de unas completas instalaciones, equipadas con la más última y novedosa maquinaria del sector. Así, podemos garantizar la excelencia en el resultado y facilitar al cliente la respuesta más completa que le permita ahorrar costes en tiempo y recursos”, puntualizan desde GSC.
Hoy en día, hablar de GSC es hablar de un liderazgo respaldado que en este 2019, celebra su 30 aniversario. Un CORE transversal y unificado
La actividad productiva de GSC abarca la globalidad de los procesos y dominios necesarios en el mecanizado de piezas aeronáuticas, un valor diferencial para el cliente. Así, GSC cuenta con un apartado de ingeniería y diseño, aprovisionamiento y materias primas, fabricación, tratamientos térmicos, tratamientos superficiales, montaje y logística. GREEN-FA 4.0, fabricación aditiva de piezas críticas de motor aeronáutico.
GSC apuesta por la ampliación de servicios que vienen a complementar el proceso convencional de mecanizado, con el objetivo de contribuir al desarrollo de tecnologías de fabricación aditiva. El área de I+D+i de GSC forma parte del proyecto Green-FA 4.0, junto con otras empresas andaluzas de probado recorrido industrial. Desarrollado íntegramente en Andalucía y con vistas en el mercado internacional, el objetivo principal de este programa es conseguir la maduración de tecnologías de Deposición Directa de Material por Láser mediante robot, para su aplicación en la fabricación aditiva de piezas críticas. El Green-FA 4.0 permitirá a los miembros participantes la posibilidad de posicionarse ante empresas importantes no presentes en España como potenciales proveedores de componentes con un alto valor añadido, ampliando así la línea de negocio e impulsando fuertemente las exportaciones en el sector aeronáutico andaluz.
Internacionalización y futuro de GSC
En la celebración de su 30 aniversario, GSC mira hacia el futuro con ilusión, apostando por la internacionalización, industria 4.0 y digitalización; como pilares fundamentales para afrontar los retos del actual panorama y seguir creciendo. Inmersa en pleno proceso de expansión internacional, GSC pretende posicionarse fuera de Europa, situándose de manera estratégica en las zonas denominadas BCC (Best Cost Country) por los grandes OEM´s.

El pasado mes de diciembre, en Toulouse, el grupo Airbus celebró su conferencia anual de proveedores estratégicos D2P (Details Parts Partner), donde reunió a las principales empresas de mecanizado, chapa y estructura que trabajan para el constructor aeronáutico europeo. Por tercer año consecutivo, GSC vuelve a recibir el reconocimiento como proveedor estratégico clase B dentro del programa D2P, que engloba una evaluación profunda por parte de Airbus de las capacidades estratégicas y operacionales de los mejores proveedores del mundo en su especialidad. Airbus trabaja con más de 12.000 proveedores, con un volumen total de abastecimiento valorado en aproximadamente 49.600 millones de euros. Con este nuevo reconocimiento, GSC se afianza como uno de los mejores proveedores de mecanizado aeronáutico para Airbus.

GSC was born in 1989 by its founder Jose Luis Montaño, with the aim of becoming global partner in the aerospace machining and assembly sector. GREEN-FA 4.0, additive manufacturing of aeronautical engine critical parts.
GSC is committed to expanding services that complement the conventional machining process, with the aim of contributing to the development of additive manufacturing technologies. GSC’s R&D area is part of the Green-FA 4.0 project, together with other Andalusian companies with proven industrial experience. The project is carried out in Andalusia and with views in the international market, and the main objective of this program is to achieve the maturation of Direct Material Deposition by Laser technologies by robot, for its application in the additive manufacturing of critical parts. The Green-FA 4.0 will allow participating members the opportunity to position themselves before important companies not present in Spain as potential suppliers of components with a high added value, thus expanding the business line and strongly boosting exports in the Andalusian aeronautical sector.
Internationalization and future of GSC
In celebration of its 30th anniversary, GSC looks to the future with enthusiasm, betting on internationalization, industry 4.0 and digitalization as fundamental pillars to face the challenges of the current aerospace panorama and keep growing.
Immersed in the process of international expansion, GSC intends to position itself outside Europe, strategically located in the areas known as BCC (Best Cost Country) by the big OEM’s.

Last December, in Toulouse, the Airbus group held its annual strategic suppliers Conference D2P (Details Parts Partner), which brought together the leading companies in machining, sheet metal and structure that work for the European aircraft manufacturer. For the third year in a row , GSC has been evaluated as a detailed part strategic supplier (D2P) Class B, which includes a thorough evaluation by Airbus of the strategic and operational capacities of the best suppliers in the world in its specialty. Airbus works with more than 12,000 suppliers, with a total supply volume valued at approximately 49,600 million euros. With this new recognition, GSC has established itself as one of the best world aerospace machining suppliers for Airbus.
